How do you reset the keyless entry on a 1988 Lincoln Town Car if you do not know the code?

THE MASTER CODE CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT CHANGING THE KEYLESS ENTRY COMPUTER.
HOWEVER, THE KEYLESS ENTRY CODES ARE LOCATED IN 3 AREAS;
LOOK FOR A WHITE LABEL WITH 5 NUMBERS ON IT.
1 - ON A CREDIT CARD SIZED CARD IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.
2 - ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE TRUNK HINGE.
3 - IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, REMOVE THE PANEL UNDER THE GLOVE BOX, ON THE DOOR SIDE OF THE FOOTWELL, YOU WILL SEE A BLACK BOX TOWARDS THE BOTTOM CLOSER TO THE REAR OF THE CAR, THE LABEL IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THAT BOX.
ONCE THE MASTER CODE IS DISCOVERED, YOU CAN PROGRAM A PERSONAL CODE. THE MASTER CODE WILL ALWAYS WORK. IF POWER IS INTERRUPTED TO THE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM THE PERSONAL CODE WILL HAVE TO BE REPROGRAMMED.
REMEMBER, THE MASTER CODE WILL ALWAYS WORK, SHORT OF ANY INTERNAL FAULT OF COURSE.
NEED TO GO TO THE DEALER TO RETRIEVE THE CODE
You can also check the inside of the trunk the code is usually printed there as well...
on the passenger side of the trunk on the bottom!

You can get the code numbers they should be on the side off a small black box between the rear speakers inside the trunck. There is where I found mine. Hope you Find It.
