Well, of Christians, 1billion are Catholic, 800 Million are Prodestant, and around 500 Million are other, so around 2.5 Billion people worldwide
There is no way of knowing how many people worldwide are Christian.
Official figures suggest that there are 44,522,000 Christians in the UK, or 71.8 % of the population. However not all these are regular (weekly) churchgoers although the majority attend church either on special occaions or more frequently than that.
Other answers from our community:
Roughly 78% of England is Christian.
Survey samples have indicated that the true proportion of Christians is just over 50 per cent.
It is recorded that 33% of the world's religious adherents are Christians.
However, the number appears to be elusive, possibly because most information of this kind is given on a national census. Otherwise, people tend not to record what their belief system is.

Many people are born christian but many people become christian when there older because of personal reasons so every minute hour day someone new becomes christian or is born christian already
Answer:While the number of Christians is hard to tell, many claim to be so. However, to become a Christian Biblically, a person needs to reckon that he is a sinner and are not worthy of God's glory: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23. We should all pay the penalty for sin by eternal death: "For the wages of sin is death;" yet God wishes to give us forgiveness and eternal life: "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. Christ paid the pric on the Cross for our sins.In response to this, if we trust in Christ as our Savior from sin's penalty, is that we gain forgiveness and eternal life, becoming a Christian. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9 & 10. Verse 13 says: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
The sad thing is that many would say they are Christian because they go to church, were brought up in a church, or think that they are good enough. Jesus said: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23.
We need to truly believe in Christ and all He did to be saved, to be a true Christian: "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." John 6:29. In verse 47 He says: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." Without true belief in Christ, one cnnot be a Christian.
