Yes they will. It's actually pretty funny watching the tiny rooster trying to order a buff orpington around!

The loss of feathers on a hens back although not pretty to look at is not usually bad. You can separate the hen from the rooster for awhile and the feathers will grow back.
The hen will lay eggs whether there is a rooster on site or not. In fact, commercial layers (the eggs in the grocery store) never, ever see a rooster. They live in a hen commune. You only add the rooster if you want to have chicks. If you keep the rooster just because he's pretty, he eats the food, bothers the hens and doesn't give you anything in return except something nice to look at.
Red Star roosters are white, however any rooster can cover any hen, so long as he's big enough to do the job. You would just have mixed breed chicks. We have a pretty little mixed orange bantam roo with our Red Stars, Buff Orpingtons, and Road Island Reds (it was his decision, so we went with it out of amusement. He's fun to watch strutting around with his harem of big girls). We can pretty much assure people that their eggs are not fertilized as "George" can't reach.
No, but most of them are. It depends on the personality of your individual rooster, but being loud it pretty much in their nature. It is not something that can be trained out of them.
Wine is around 12% abv and a Martini, which is pretty much straight gin, is 40% abv. Your typical serving size for wine is 5oz and for a martini is 3oz. So the amount of alcohol in a glass of wine is about .6oz and in a martini is 1.2oz.
Pretty Big.
