You are more than likely correct. Try draining the water heater to remove any sediment.

Discharge. It can be caused by many things, including sexual intercourse and acts, such as... fingering.
Do all the faucets do this or just one. if its just one faucet its a problem with this fauset. If its all the faucets in the home its a problem with the main water line coming into your home.
Assuming water pipes here. 1) Open ALL faucets fully. 2) Turn water on about a 1/3 3) Wait till no more air is coming out of faucets 4) Open Valve all the way. 5) Close all faucets
They mix air with the water so that it doesn't have as much force coming out of the faucet and splashes less.
There is a hot/cold cross connection at one or more of the faucets at you house. make sure all faucets are shut off both hot and cold. If it still occurs more than likely you have a Moen faucet somewhere (most likely).
more info needed - is it out of both H and C, -Are you on a well, if so what type is your pressure tank.
Obviously hooked up wrong, or the faucets are mismarked . Usually cold on the right, hot on the left.

When your water pipes freeze up, there is the tendency for the water to be brown or reddish brown right after they thaw. The is caused by rust in the pipes. You need to turn the faucets on and let the water flow out until it runs clear again.
Because it protects the material (usually steel) from coming into contact with moisture and water.
We have stuff like that, but we don't actually know for sure what it is... I think it's like a moss which grows in pipes and waterholes.
