Allah said in the Quran:
They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allah upon it, and fear Allah." Indeed, Allah is swift in account. (4) Surat Al-Maida"
and prophet Mohammed peace upon him said:
قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم { ما Ø£ØÙ„ الله Ùهو Øلال وما Øرم Ùهو Øرام وما سكت عنه Ùهو عÙÙˆ ØŒ Ùاقبلوا من الله عاÙيته Ùإن الله لم يكن لينسى شيئا }أخرجه البزار والطبراني من Øديث أبي الدرداء بسند Øسن
In prophet's hadith, the prophet said: What Allah has permitted is "Halal"", what Allah has prohibited is "Haram" and what Allah has skipped is pardoned "Pardoned". So accept what Allah has pardoned you from since Allah is not a forgetful. Narrated by Tabarani.
Exceptional for Pudists (chinese):If the food is made by Pudists and Sikh, "is allowed" so long they did not slaughter the animal themselves and so long you trust them. But if they slaughter the animal, their food is no more Halal because they are not people of the book like Christians and Jews.Improved above.

The packing clearly mentions the source that has checked and approved the meat as Halal. Do an internet search and see if the organisation really exists and then ask that certification if they have really checked XYZ meat company. Alternatively, you can buy from a Muslim shop and ask the person to swear that it is Halal. In that case, even if is not Halal, the sin will be upon the shopkeeper and not on the consumer.
Typically Chinese food is not halal. However a large Muslim population is present in many of the western provinces, especially that border Pakistan, India, Kazakhstan such as Xinjiang. It is often easy to find halal food, and many restaurants and grocery stores in the area serve halal food to all patrons. In the Easter and northern tourist areas though halal food can be difficult to find.
But many Chinese dishes are vegetarian or use fresh fish. No matter what area of China you are in, it is easy to find food that fits halal requirements. However, you may be limited in the variety of dishes.
yes, They want to serve food that the country is used to.
According to my observations KFC is not HALAAL in china
Yes it is.
Yes
no.
In general, KFC's chicken is not Halal. However, depending on your location in the world, some KFC's have been known to cater for the local Islamic population by ensuring the chicken sold in that individual KFC is Halal.Normally though, the KFC would advertise if their chicken was Halal.
no
Yes. We wrote to customer.mania@yum.com(official customer support for KFC) and got the reply that it is halal an they do have halal certificate at there outlet which can be produced at request. They told that the vendors that they use are Godrej and venky's.
the workers take the chiken from local vendors. so i dont think it is 100% halal
yes! They also have the certificate to prove it
its NOT Halal. Some branches only. Simple rule of thumb. Always ask the Manager, (not the staff, mostly they have no idea), "Is your chicken Halal". If yes, Which menu food is Halal. (By the way, mostly people think since its Chicken it should be halal. NO. Halal means, that chicken MUST be slaughtered by a Muslim who also MUST say a prayer before slaughtering it.)
It is halal if slaughtered according to Islam rules even if imported from australia, brazil, new zealand, holland, etc. The KFC workers should be asked on that before buying from them.
now it is, i think, but check your self by asking the manager
Dear asker, Kfc food is "halal" everywhere, only if it's food isn't made from any thing that comes out of a pig ( i.e ; pig meat' ham burger, but beaf burger ia ok )
