the maintenance required light comes on to remind you that you may need an oil change or something else i think it usually comes on when you have put in more than 20,000 miles on your car. its just a reminder to get something done, it doesnt necssarily mean that something is wrong with the car its just a reminder. if you take it to a place where they change oil or tires there is a reset button to turn it off. or you can also read you manual and it should tell you where the reset button is and it will turn the light off. if you are still concerned about the light than you can also take it to an autozone store and they have machines that will read your car and they will tell you if something else is wrong with the car. if you have any other questions just ask me and maybe i can help.
