Prior to the seven continents of earth breaking apart, they looked like complete jigsaw puzzle. The puzzle was called Pangaea and occurred over two hundred million years ago.

Out of the seven continents, five have land in the eastern hemisphere. They are Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Australia/Oceana, and Europe.
The size of that tract of land was believed to be to large to be controlled by a single government.
