He increased U.S. troop strength in Vietnam from 16,000 to 550,000, yet didn't win the war, despite the fact that we COULD have won it with much fewer than 550,000 soldiers.
His handling of the war, neither winning it or pulling out of it eventually drove him from office. It was the major reason that he announced he would not run for another term.
His handling of Vietnam is probably the only one HE really recognized as a huge mistake.
The rest is pretty subjective, depending on how liberal your own views are, because he pretty much set a record for Liberalism, even among Liberals.
It could be argued that any number of things he did, regarding Gun Control, Civil Rights, Immigration, and Taking From The Rich to Give To The Poor were mistakes, or not, OR whether some are still in the process of being proved to be mistakes.
The Vietnam thing is the only one that he actually acknowledged personally, so the only one that isn't very subjective.
Well 3 mistakes he made would be:
1. Supporting the Bay of Pigs Invasion despite some of his advisors telling him not to do it (although he was not informed (the CIA was but didn't tell him) that the Cubans knew when and where the attack was going to take place). Also a mistake would be denying the exiles air support - this caused 1500 deaths (although he was told that if the US Air Force got involved, the Soviets would be inclined to wage nuclear war in Germany).
2. Stealing the 1960 election and double crossing the mafia - JFK's father Joe had Chicago mob boss Sam Giancana stuff ballot boxes in Illinois and enlisted the help of the mob/mafia to get thousands more votes for Kennedy. Upon entering office, JFK appointed his brother Robert attorney general who waged war on the mafia and arrests of those involved in organized crime skyrocketed.
3. His relationship with Mary Pinchot Meyer. The ex-wife of a CIA agent, Meyer and Kennedy were lovers for at least a couple years and they used to experiment with marijuana and LSD together. Meyer was involved in Project MK ULTRA, a series of experiments whose ethics are questionable. Much is unknown about MK ULTRA because the CIA director ordered all documents destroyed. Meyer died mysteriously in 1964.
That depends upon how one views his assassination. It was inevitable that he would become a target when he committed to overthrowing the monetary system of the Rothschild's Federal Reserve. Underestimating them might be considered a bad decision.

See website: Lyndon B. Johnson
Lyndon Johnson is noted for his war on poverty . Some say that poverty won.
He did some crap like sign the paper thing XD
John Kennedy and to some extent, Lyndon Johnson.
If you could ask him today, he'd probably tell you it was that he increased U.S. involvement in Vietnam from 16,000 U.S. troops to 550,000, and still never even started winning the war, despite our ability to win it. This is, anyway, the only mistake he actually admitted to on TV.
Lyndon B Johnson's favorite hobbies included fishing, riding, and hunting.
This would require a subjective answer. As Presidents tend to be older, there are many who have had less than youthfully handsome appearances. (see related link) --- According to some, Lyndon Johnson.

President Andrew Johnson was impeached, and under President Lyndon B. Johnson, Congress passed some of the most important laws, including the Civil Rights Act.
some people just think he is a great choice while others think he is not.
Carter is the only one from the deep South, The Bushes and Lyndon Johnson were from Texas. Clinton is from Arkansas.
