JFK was the 35th American president. He was the first Catholic president, and served in WW ii . He was actively involved in the Civil Rights Movement, and was assassinated on November 22nd on a parade in Dallas. Another random fact is that his favorite color was green. -He oppose the Vietnam War.

-He dealt with issues like racism, poverty, and injustice in a way that no one else could.

-He prevented a riot by meeting with blacks who were angry over Martin Luther King Jr's assassination

-He gave himself to the people with honesty and gumption.
