Well, if your getting the picture of railroads being a whole different thing then today, well it isn't. The railroads look like the ones we use today and they have no difference between them. Don't be offended but who told you that railroads look different then today. Well the trains have changed. Amtrak trains typically have a Ge Genesis P42dc locomotive, sometimes a baggage car, viewerliner,superliner, and or Amfleet cars. Some exceptions are Keystone have Aem 7's and cab cars, Surfliners have California cars and F59phi locos Cascades have the talgo set with F59phi locomotives.
