If your looking for a good aerobics workout try: Jane Fonda Step Aerobics and Abdominals. GREAT WORKOUT for everyone! If your a beginner do the workout without the steps and as you lose the weight to make the workout more intense you can add ankle weights and make the steps higher! (at least that's what I do) Hoped I help! : ))

Aerobic exercise is a certain type of exercise that helps improve your hearts fitness. An aerobic exercise strengthens the cardiac muscle in your heart, improves circulation and minimizes the strain on your heart when doing exercise. Also, in order for an exercise to be aerobic, it has to keep your heart at an increased rate for a continuous amount of time (usually around 20 or 30 minutes). So this means swimming is an aerobic exercise, while sprinting is not.

WHAT IS AEROBIC EXERCISE


'Aerobic' exercise is exercise with oxygen. It's typically taken to refer to brisk walking, jogging, running, cross-country skiing, mini-trampolining, etc. In other words exercises that get you breathing hard.

Cardiovascular (cardio) exercise is any exercise that stresses your cardiovascular system, which are the exercises or activities that get you breathing more rapidly. The only difference between aerobic and cardio exercise is linguistic. In other words, they are just two different ways of referring to the same kind of exercise. Whereas, Anaerobic, rather than Aerobic, is typically taken to refer to exercises that don't get you breathing hard such as lifting strength/weight training.
