Christians and Jews are referred to as Ahl El Kitab or people of the book aka ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS...

Muslims see Christians as believers of God, but that they also wrongly attribute Jesus as a deity.

"...and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant" (5:82, The Holy Quran).

Islam (predominantly), Christianity, Judaism, Atheism, Agnosticism.

Arabs believe in a whole variety of things. 90% of Arabs are Moslem and the majority of them are Sunnis. There is a majority of Shiite Arabs in Iraq and Bahrain and a minority of Shiite Arabs throughout the Levant. There are also large Christian communities in Lebanon, Egypt, Syria/Iraq, and Palestine/Israel, which are Maronites, Copts, Syrian Orthodox/Catholic/Chaldean/Assyrian, and Syrian Orthodox, respectively. The Jews who lived in the Arab World were never truly considered Arab both internally and by their Arab neighbors, but at the time of the declaration of the State of Israel there were over 800,000 Jews in the Arab World.

All Arab countries are mostly Muslims. Christianity is the second religion but with a small percentage compared to Islam. For example in KSA citizens are 100% Muslims, in Jordan 95% are Muslims & so on... Lebanon has minimum majority Muslims among Arab countries (Muslims account for ~59% of Lebanon population), per Pew forum Study as of October 2009. See related link for more information.

Concerning the number of Arabian countries & the number of population in each country ( for example Egypt has 80 millions with a percentage of Muslims equal to 94%).....you can undoubtedly tell that most Arabs are Muslims.

Most Christian Egyptians belong to the Coptic Church, but a minority are associated with the Greek Orthodox Church. Most other Arab Christians follow the Orthodox Church or the Eastern Rites Catholic Church. Orthodox beliefs are generally quite simlar to Roman Catholic beliefs, except for the absence of the Augustine notion of original sin and of the phrase "and the Son" (Latin: filioque) from the Nicene Creed.

What was the purpose for the crusades?

In the early middle ages Arab Muslims controlled Jerusalem. Many Christians went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem to visit the holy land. The Arab Muslims allowed this until the Turkish Muslims took over. When pilgrims visited the Holy land the Turkish Muslims would beat them, rob them and in some cases murder them. The Christians didn't like this and were told by the pope too go and fight, if Christians fought their sins would be immediately forgiven and if they died the would go straight to heaven and they would also protect their land and people and receive land so the holy war began this was called a crusade. Christians and Muslims fought over the power of Jerusalem and this is how the Christians recieved the name 'The Crusaders'.
