2001 CRV maint costA 2001 is very cheap to run 25mpg. Only takes 4qts oil during changes. I bought my 01 new has 60,000 miles on it now. I replaced the brake pads at 50,000 probably could have made it to 60k but didn't want to chance it. Only use Honda pads unless you want to hear squeaks. The only major maint expense happens at 105,000 to replace the timing belt/water pump and engine collant $500 again use a Honda belt/pump. Most of the other maint you can do yourself or any garage can do. The belt/pump you might want to have done at the dealer unless your mechanic is really good.
