My 1989 Mazda 323 had a "fade-out" not too long ago, and then the car died. I tried "jumping" the battery with the help of some guys at a gas station and it came right back to life. I drove to a service station and they confirmed for me that my alternator had died. This could be your problem! The original alternator had lasted these 15+ years, but everything has a lifespan! Check that the v-blet is tight enough....sometimes this causes an alternator not to charge.... Yes, the same thing happened to me in rush hour, the orignal alterantor died. As with all fuel-injected cars they need a minimum volatge to operate, below 11 volts the computer and fuel pump shut down. Although I haven't had a problem with the replacment alternator on my Mazda, I did have a Honda Civic with charging problems. I added an accesory voltmeter to monitor system volatge. They are only $25.00 or so and can be pod mounted on your A pillar if you are concerned about this happening again. Cheers Malcolm
bad alternater??short somewhere??when do they fade in and out?
The duration of Tail Lights Fade is 1.45 hours.
Tail Lights Fade was created on 1999-12-03.
It will become a Red Giant and then it will slowly fade away into a new nebula.
I've go the same problem
Well if you dye it wrong then it may fade to green.
The Energy Never Dies. So baisically its the opposite to the end. As its never going to die and fade away
Yes he does... Which sucks! You can see when he gets hit with the rail gun that the lights in his eyes fade away.
I have the same problem..dash lights were intermittent for about a month and now no dash lights at all. My guess is the light switch but I havent checked it yet.
all electrically powered items such as head lights etc fade, longer or non start ups
If the engine isn't running, the battery is low. If the engine is running, the alternator probably has a problem. If you are wearing dark sunglasses, remove them and the lights will get brighter. good luck!
It is an over charging votlage regulator in the alt. Rare problem.
