yes the bottom of course to get at the bolts holding the back in place i have a 98 so 99 would be the same i do believe there are 13 or 14 mm bolt heads there will be four of them! after you get them out push the back part up to unhook it .... hope that helps?

A 1998 Chevy Prism's idle speed is computer controlled. You will have to take it to a garage to get it set. However, the idle speed could be altered if, say, your spark plugs are seriously worn. Changing them may restore the original idle speed.

To change the oil in a 1998 Chevy Prism you must first remove the oil plug from the oil pan under the vehicle. Allow all oil to drain out. Remove the old oil filter and replace with a new filter. Replace the oil plug in the oil pan. Refill the engine with clean oil as recommended without over filling.
Underneath the coils. Remove the plastic head cover, Lossen all the coil pack bolts and fasteners, remove the coils and you will see the sparkplugs in the holes you just uncovered.
