Vietnamese coriander - rau ram - is a tropical perennial and needs to be planted out after danger of frost. To carry it over from year to year move it indoors to a sunny location or a heated greenhouse in the autumn before the first frost.

It is also easily propagated from cuttings through out the year.

Coriander originates from southern Europe and northern Africa - thus prefers warmer climate zones. You will find it available in nurseries / garden centres during months that mimic its natural environment. In Australia, Coriander is available from spring through to late summer.
