yes,
in fact there is! they also make them in china and Japan.
but do not worry about the quality of the guitar cuz its still a Gibson guitar.
Gibson also makes its Epiphone brand Guitars in Asia. in my mind, Gibson `s that are made in the USA and Japan are a little better in sound than a Gibson`s from china. Chinese Gibson guitars are built to get the point across, but not to the true Gibson feel. so if you get one made there dont worry about the sound or looks.
I mean A Gibson Is A Gibson.

All Gibson guitars are built in the United States. SGs are built at the company's Nashville factory.
Genuine Gibson should all be made in the USA.
Epiphone was a company all it's own at one time, owned by a luthier, and named after is son, "Epi." As Epiphone made quality instruments, Gibson purchased the rights to the name, at which point Gibson became responsible for the construction of Epiphone guitars. But, Epiphone makes Epiphone guitars, not Gibson. Gibson is only responsible for providing the materials and the construction regulations. Some would even choose an Epiphone over a Gibson.
This question has no sense... because an acoustic guitar is a kind of instrument and Epiphone is a brand. Epiphone builds acoustic guitars, as well as electric guitars and a lot of other instruments.
This site has a lot of information:Electric guitar innovationsPaul was dissatisfied with the electric guitars that were sold in the mid 1930s and began experimenting with a few designs of his own. Famously, he created "The Log," which was nothing more than a length of common 4" by 4" fence post with bridge, guitar neck, and pickup attached. For the sake of appearance, he attached the body of an Epiphone hollow-body guitar, sawn lengthwise with The Log in the middle. This solved his two main problems: feedback, as the acoustic body no longer resonated with the amplified sound, and sustain, as the energy of the strings was not dissipated in generating sound through the guitar body. Another site:The same pickups were also available on Epiphone models (since Gibson was building Epiphone guitars in the 1950s) and the design is best remembered for its appearance on the hollow body Epiphone Casino of the mid to late 1960s. All three Beatles guitarists bought one, and recently, Paul McCartney said, "If I had to choose one electric guitar, it would be this one."
Epiphone is very much similar to Gibson, at a cheaper price. Epiphone is owned by Gibson. Gibson makes Epiphone to give guitarists a Gibson feel, at a lower price, without sacrificing quality. Epiphone has some models of its own that Gibson doesn't, and Epiphone makes guitars with the same basic body shape and with some similar technology, hardware and electrical components. I own two Epiphones and a Les Paul, but I dont see any difference in quality between the two brands. I guess it just depends on sound taste. Gibson has a warmer feel to it, while Epiphone has a sharper sound. So basically think of Epiphone as a little brother of Gibson.
it's the bridge that is used by default by Gibson and epiphone an their SG and les pual guitar's, they can also be found in other guitars aswell. the stop tail piece comes with most of the tune o matic bridge guitars. tune o matics only modify the guitars intonation.

The Epiphone Wilshire guitar is a unique sounding, fun guitar that meets the quality standards of all other Epiphone and Gibson guitars. It is based upon the Wilshire design that Epiphone created and sold throughout the 60's.

Yes, the most popular branch of Gibson is Epiphone. These are great guitars! Tobias and Baldwin are other favorite thats under the Gobson name. Signature Les Pauls are my absolute favorite and are built by Gibson/Epiphone. Kramer is also a Gibson name. Gibson currently has 18 additional name brands. They are like the General Motors of guitars. GM is Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, Saab, etc. etc. etc. all in one therefore a bunch of brands in one name.
During the Korean War, North Korea and China were allies, but currently they have problems with each other.

China would crush North Korea in less than a day.

Yes, there is a Braille system for China and other systems for Japan, Korea and Tibet.
