the door ajar switch is Incorporated into each door latch if you have a problem with the door ajar light staying on along with the interior and running board lights spray each latch including the back glass and door latches and open and close each door several times this should fix the problem good luck
spray wd40 in all the latches then open and shut all the doors a couple of times
I would assume you have either a "Door Ajar" indicator or the Dome light stays on. I don't know if it applies to the 95 but on our 97 the switches are located on the door latch mechanism inside the door. WD40 spray on the door latch really worked for the Dome Light problem, I would guess it will work on the door ajar switch as well.
One of the doors is not completely closed, or you have a faulty door switch.
How do i replace blend door motor
== == Mine was tested and it was the back hatch I sprayed wd40 in it and slamed the door harder than normal and never had anouther problem with it If that didn't fix it check to make sure that the relay switch in the fuse box is good. Well, the WD40 worked great on our 1998 Ford Expedition. Sprayed all the doors and it has worked fine since. Wes Harris
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND I REFUSED TO SPEND $90.00/HR TO HAVE IT FIXED. SPRAY SOME WD-40 IN THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM, OPEN AND CLOSE IT A FEW TIMES AND IT SHOULD WORK.
According to the drawing in the 1997 Ford Expedition Owner Guide : The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is located in the front passenger footwell , behind the kick panel ( that's the interior trim panel , just in front of the front door , at the persons feet )
Do you mean the electrical ignition switch or the cylinder lock and key..?
I believe door lite switches are in the door latch mechanisisms. I had the same problem in a 97 expy and I received a tip to spray WD-40 in all the ddor latch mechanisisms and it worked great the problem with the lights staying on never returned. ---------------------------------------- The above person is correct regarding switches been in the door latch mechanisms. I also had the same problem on my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT and I spray WD-40 in all the door latch mechanisms and it worked the problem with the lights when away 3 years now.
its either the flasher or the turn signal switch
Door jamb switch is defective light switch is defective or not turned off.
Not from the factory , just the one key works for the door and ignition
