I have an 86 turbo. The oil filter sticks out from the side of the engine on the passenger side and is located right above the starter motor. I just changed it from under the car ( jacked up ). I can't remember if you can get to it from above but I think so. I expect they have not changed the location much. I have a 93 300ZX TT. The oil filter is near the rear passenger side of the oil pan. The car is so low that you cannot get to the filter or oil drain on the oil pan without lifting the car.
If you are looking at the engine look to the left of the engine. Your fuel filter is connected to the frame with a strap.

My friend has one and the air filter is located between the headlights, below a body panel

It is located behind the passenger side kick panel
same place as turbo on passenger side of motor low down on side of engine block
The replacement coil part#s are the same, from the store... so yes.
