its located right in the fuse box on the driverside dasboard. its the only black box type fuse in the panel Just know that when you remove this, you will have only one headlight working and an annoying DRL light on your gauge cluster. Unless you know the jump sequence...
The DRL Module is located at the LH Rocker Panel left of the brake, under and just below the dash. The DRL Module and the DRL Relay are side-by-side.
In the fuse panel on the driver's side dash.
The drl relay is located in the back of the glove compartment.
Under the dash on the left side.
its in the fuse block under the hood on the drivers side by the battery It is located inside the left front fender, you will have to Loosen the battery and tip it forward to get at the relay,it is about 1 inch square with 4 wires.
I have a 2000 Cavalier that did the same thing with the DRL, and only one of the lights worked when I put on the headlights manually. Ended up being a burnt-out bulb that I had to replace. No wiring necessary.
Most likely this is related to the BCM grounding the DRL relay.
AnswerNo such thing Do you mean the relay? If so its in the relay box under the hoodAnswer,Actually ther is suck a thing called a DRL relay. There is a hot wire that runs through the diode through the relay and into the DRL Module
drl main relay location at left side of the dash panel , you can not disable drl from relay No. 5 , I will tell you how to disable drl Toyota echo . first you pull out toward you the dash panel cover , it will come out easy , you will find at left side of panel two small boxes fixed on a bar , first one is red door lock/ unlock relay , you have to loose from bar to reach the second one which is black , that black one is drl main relay , only you have to take out harrness and no drl any more but in this case your parking brake lights will not go on if you use park brake , another way you can cut the red wire in harness pin 12 and return back harness to relay , your parking brake light will be working only you disable drl , hope you understand ?
The DRL module is a grey box with a small circuit board inside. The module is electrically taped to the main wiring harness right next to the fuse box located next to the emergency brake on the driver's side of the vehicle. The DRL relay is located a little lower to the right of the fusebox on the driver's side near the emergency brake. Please be aware if your DRL do not work (as mine have not for years), I have troubleshot the DRL module at a cost of $65 for replacement, and I have troubleshot the DRL relay. Also, I have troubleshot the diodes and fuses and continue to have no success with DRL on my vehicle. Anyone with any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
The 1996 GMC Sierra DRL module is located underneath the dash panel on the driverside between the pakingy brake pedal and the brake pedal.
I ripped up the headlight wires from a little below the driver side headlamp all the way to the other lamp. I found A LOT of connections rotted out. I re-did the connections and viola, DRL's ran again. Also there is a DRL relay on the radiator just behind the hood latch. Try that first. Good luck. If you are speaking of the relay beside the hood latch, its a crash sensor and not a DRL relay.
