If You're Trying To Lose Weight:
You should avoid Asian foods like chicken lomein or egg rolls because of the high MSG factor. You should also try to stay away from unhealthy snacks. Instead of a cookie, try an apple with peanut butter. Instead of a bag of potato chips, try some yogurt or jello. It's okay, though, every once in a while, to have a big 'ol bag of potato chips...as long as you don't do that every day. Try these healthy snack replacements:
Instead of....
Chips, try celery sticks with peanut butter
Donuts, try your favorite flavor of yogurt with a tiny bit of sprinkles
Ice cream, try a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich
Chocolate, try peaches with brown sugar.
Milkshake, try a fruit smoothie
Also, try to eat healthy foods that are crunchy, because you fill yourself up faster if you chew a lot.
If You're Just Trying To Stay Healthy
Just stay away from constant snacks like candy and potato chips. Try some crunchy alternatives instead like apples or celery. Also stay away from those salt and pepper shakers-those hold the key to your fat stores.
