Why is Islam claimed by some as a terrorist religion?

It is not true. Islam is never considered as a terrorist religion. Islam is a religion of peace. The root word of the Arabic word of Islam is "salem" that means one to be in peace. It is the western media that propagated the idea of terrorism of Islam religion to justify invasion of the western countries to Islamic countries claiming waging war against terrorism while the main purpose is to get control of the energy and mineral resources of those Islamic countries. When you find a terrorist whose religion is Islam they call him/her by his/her religion as an Islamic terrorist. When you find a terrorist whose religion is Christianity or Judaism they call him.her by his/her nationality as Us or English or Japanese terrorist. What about the massacres committed against Muslims in Serbia, Burma, Chechen, the Palestinian territoriality, Iraq, and other countries. Are the killers Muslim terrorists?!

This false impression about Islam is propagated by Media just to divert non Muslims away from Islam and resist the flow of non Muslims who convert to Islam when they recognize it truthfulness and recognize the scientific miracles in Quran that prove it is a true God revelations to prophet Muhammad. Anyone who reads the Islamic Scripture - Quran, will not fail to notice many passages of terrorist dogmas/instructions. But to the moderates, these teachings are not applied across the board. To the extremists, these are clear instructions to terrorize.

Take for example " Qur'an:9:5"Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."Qur'an:9:112"The Believers fight in Allah's Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed."

There are many others. But the above instructions have led many muslims to pick up guns and bombs to kill non-believers in many parts of the world. It has also turned many muslims away from Islam while keeping some in Islam as they reject these as only taken within certain contexts. Unfortunately, the Quran has no context, which explains why islamic texts (Biographies of Muhammad) known as Hadeeths are required to explain these teachings. This openly subjects these teachings to interpretation using whatever context the islamic teacher prefers. And is the reason why some muslims become terrorists, some moderates.

Whether or not, Islam becomes a terrorist's religion depends largely on whether muslims decide to execute these teachings using their preferred contexts. As long as they keep from doing them, the religion of islam will remain peaceful, otherwise all serious practitioners of the religion inevitably becomes terrorists.

Answer 3The Quran verses in Answer 1 are truncated from the verses before them and what are after and hence giving different impression and meanings. One should be very careful when reading Quran to understand the whole text and understand the true meanings.

e.g. The verse 9:5 that says:"

"Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

verse 9:4 before it says that:

"Those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]."

It means that verse 9:5 doesn't apply to all disbelievers but only to those who do not keep their treaties with Muslims and/or those who support others against you. Even for those God instructs to complete their treaty until the term.

verse 9:6 after the verse 9:4 says that:

"And if any one of the polytheists (or disbelievers) seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah (or God and same God worshiped in Christianity and Judaism). Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know."

It means that not only you are not allowed to kill disbelievers but also if they seek your protection you should protect them until you keep them safely.

So, you conclude that truncating a specific verse from its full text could give a wrong meaning and wrong impression.

Same applies for other verses.

Islam is God religion that calls for peace and love among people and never calls for compulsion in religion. Islam is considered a terrorist religion just by western media and by politicians who are keen; under the umbrella of fighting the claimed terrorism; to have control over Islamic countries. Another purpose is to retard or even block the trend of many non Muslims to convert to Islam. Islam religion is never related to terrorism. Only the plots planned by some countries lead to exporting terrorists some Islamic countries to create disturbances and violences to justify the world interferences in these Islamic countries to fulfil their targets of their control or their segregation in smaller partitions.
