replace the leaking component
You should replace the water pump on a 1999 Toyota Avalon when it becomes worn out. You can also replace it when it begins leaking.
If it is leaking, then best to replace it.
Take out the fuse or replace door switch with aftermarket
There is no specific pinion nut torque. The pinion nut has to be tightened until the proper pinion preload is established. Pinion preload is what matters
remove rear drive shaft from vehicle.remove large nut ( pinion nut) at front of diff, which is generally hidden when driveshaft is in place.with a bearing puller remove pinion bearing, replace with new one. install new pinion seal. reinstall pinion cover and pinion nut. tighten to specified torgue.reinstall driveshaft check diff oil for proper amount
It should. A 2005 wrangler hardtop fits a 1997 wrangler.
The boots on a rack-n-pinion are there to keep the inner tie rods clean. If power steering fluid is in the boots, then the seals on the rack-n-pinion are leaking. At this point you need to either have it rebuilt or buy a new one. I am a A.S.E Master certified automotive technician.
