Open it, remove the battery and place the car remote in a bag with Silica Gel to dry it out completely.
Replace the battery with a NEW one and put it all back together.
Next you'll need to read the owners manual for instructions on "pairing" the remote to the car. They'll use a different term so you'll just have to look up the remote.
Typically the little door lock remotes are quite robust and can tolerate a little water but they won't operate when wet and won't operate if there is a residue left behind.
i have a 2007 chevy cobalt.it only has 17000 miles on it. i had a remote car starter put in a year and ahalf ago. i never had a problem. now when i start my car it makes a clicking noise.the noise goes away after a few seconds and i can still drive the car.
Reconnect your horn and turn your key to unlock the door this will disable your alarm.
Hi there, i had the same problem with my 2004 Mazda MPV and it took me 2 Months to find out it was the fuse that if connected to the wiring to the remote starter itself. The remote has 3 fuses, 2-30Amp and 1-15Amp fuse. I replaced the 30Amp and was up and running.
On her programme Style Queen she was driving an Audi. But now she's got a child she drives a 4x4.

The fuse panel is located under the dash drivers side. It can also be that the remote battery is dead.
Click it twice fast
I had a problem too when I removed the battery from my Mentor's remote . Do the following ,sit inside the car , remove the remote battery , wait for 1 minute , replace the remote battery when doing so you will see that the remote light is on ! If the light is not on try again ! Now press and hold the lock button on the remote until you hesar the doors lock . Your remote is now programed .
I just had the same problem. I've never had this happen before and had the car years. the battery went completely flat so charged it overnight and then the remote wouldn't work. Found a website today which got the remote to work, the engine turns over but then the immobilizer kicks in. Reactivated the remote by disconnecting the negative on the battery for 20 mins, then turn the ignition key onto the positon before it starts and reconnect the battery - not sure if this has damaged the immobilisor though. Trying to solve that problem now.
havent got any right now actualy. havent got any right now actualy.
Replace it with a new radio or use car insurace
Ha! Glad you asked. It is all simple: get your computer, download the program BioBotics. Now you will need a RC car and a Xbox 360 remote. Turn on your Rc car and your xbox remote. BioBotics should pick up the frequencies and hack them. Now you can control the RC car with only a computer and a gaming controller!
Well, if you say "onto", it means that she is now standing or sitting on top of her car. So most likely you mean "into".
With mine, you gotta get in the car and put in the key. Also if you have the remote you can use it now.
To program the remote for a MCV20 / SXV20 camry you need the master programmed key (it's the black one you would have gotten originally with the car. you place the key in the ignition with the headlights off and the interior light off turn the car from "off" to "on" 3 or 5 times rapidly (but do not start the car). the dash security light will come on and stay on. this means the car is in program mode. you then simply press the remote button and your new remote is now programmed. additional: your old remote will not work unless you programme it at the same time as the new one.
