Buy a rebuilt transmission and install it.
Possible shifter or linkage problem? ie: not actually going into reverse. Ummmm, you didn't zoom the tires in reverse and blow the gear did you... Hope that helps.
When not used, they do get stuck and hard to shift. I had this with my 93. I put it in neutral and forced it into 4 wheel low. After it went, it is now easier to shift into.
The Blue Blazer was played by Owen Hart, who died in a tragic stunt that went wrong.

Jamie Went was born in 1982.
I had a similar problem with my 95 Blazer. The problem I had was with the spider unit or the fuel injection unit. This went bad on me along with the fuel lines going to it. While I was driveing one day it just died. If you have gas in the oil this could be your problem.

From what I have been reading, the sun-shell fails on these transmissions. Of coarse the tranny you are talking about is the 4L60E automatic? Our blazers tranny just went out, no reverse, no 2nd and no overdrive, shifts hard and at hi rpm from 1st to 3rd.
Replace the wiper circuit board. It went bad on both of our blazers. It isn't too expensive. Pretty easy to get to too.
The Chevy Volt just went into production this year.
