I had to pull the front dash off by unscrewing it, left it hanging. The blower is just right of center. Unscrew it and unplug wiring harness and it comes right out. Easy fix, just time consuming.

Purchase a Purolator cabin filter as it comes with complete instructions. A dakota was not built with one from the factory

The 2009 Dodge Dakota comes standard with P245/70R16 size tires on both the front and the rear. The wheels are 16 *8 inches.
Some of the Rams had a recall on the blower motor wiring.I would check the wires at the blower first.If the wires are in good shape,then you may need to replace the blower.
Buy a kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with instructions
My Gas Gage in my 1993 Dodge Dakota 4-Banger (cylinder) is moving ever so slightly but not working? is there a wire leading to the float? what is my problem Other than being a complete Laman when it comes to this Dodge (Always been a Chevy Man ?
Remove the dash panel (pops off), then all the necessary screws, and it comes right off.
Try checking the blower motor resistor. That is a common problem on Dodge cars/truchs. On your truck it should be on the firewall in the engine compartment-pass side. It has 3 little springs inside & each one controls a motor speed. Have no idea how. You chck it with a test light contin tester.
if no hot air is coming out in park or stopped but little is when goin but faster you go harder it comes out its the blower motor
