1992 Geo Tracker - Is there a way to fix the output shaft seal for the steering gear instead of replacing the whole thing you have a manual for it but it does not show how to replace the seal only.?

If you are talking about the output shaft on the Power Steering shaft. From what I have ran into there is no fix. they do not make rebuild kit for them. But if you have a small leak you can try putting a little brake fluid in the reservoir that may stop the problem, if it is rally bad then try using a commercial stop leak. Lucas oil products makes a really good product. but follow the directions to the letter. good luck,,
