I had this problem and tweaked the throttle and replaced the catalytic converter - fixed.
Plugged fuel, air filter, or catalytic converter can cause that.
the converter may be the problem, but I would at the accelerator pump, throttle body. hope it helps. duboff
Loss of power, hard starting, poor fuel mileage, and a blowing noise under full throttle. Also the converter will get red hot.
A clogged catalytic converter? Or some other exhaust pipe obstruction. Try removing an O2 sensor on the exhaust and see if it accelerates then, if it does, your catalytic converter could very well be clogged. Also, if your EGR valve isn't working properly, it will cause your engine to stall out. Hope this helps.
In a word no, not only its illegal it will improve performance try a bigger cam or throttle body or a aftermarket ECM.
How can you repair the throttle position
The function of a throttle position sensor is to monitor the position of the throttle in an internal combustion engine.
The throttle position sensor is in the throttle body.
The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body at the end of the throttle shaft.
you probably have a broken fuel line that is what i had
Normally no, you will not hear any noise other than a blowing sound under full throttle. You will loose power, have poor fuel mileage, and the converter may become red hot.
