the most common thing this time of year is the thermostat. it may be stuck open or be too hot of a thermostat. i use a 195 degree in summer then put in a 180 in the winter. also check the heater core and housing. the heater core may be bad or clogged or maybe the housing is full of debree this happens in areas that are heavy in falling leaves. also it could be a matter that you are low on antifreeze. finally i would check the cable to the heat selector on the dash. it is common for them to beak in the plastic cover. to check this see if you can move the butterfly valve that supplies the heater core by hand. hope this helps.
