Probably the electric fuel pump. Access to it is under the back seat.
Starter solenoid sticking. Replace the solenoid if it is external. If it is internal, then just replace thee starter. It will cost a little more but you will have a new starter and solenoid.
you might have blow out a head or over headed the engine
the problem with your truck is either the battery does not have enough cranking amps, or the starter is beginning to wear out. first time i ever had this problem i put a higher cranking rated battery in and that solved the problem
There's probably no problem with the starter. The solenoid sounds like the problem. It is the little round thing with the wires hooked to it forward of the starter on your model. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before removing it and remember which posts the wires are on.
This might help you a little bit,I have a 96 Cherokee that dose that, took it to shop still having problem your flywheel may be the problem you starter maybe in a dead spot on your flywheel(Missing a tooth)

The starter is located towards the bottom of the engine towards the front of the vehicle. First remove the cable from the B+ terminal and unpulg the wire for the solenoid. Remove the starter by loosening the two 5mm bolts that thread into the starter. They are a little hard to get at but with a little patience you can get a wrench on them and get them off. Then just pull out the starter and install the new one. However, before you change the starter, make sure it really is a defective starter and not a bad cable or ground. I just went through this exercise only to find out that the problem was really a bad ground in the power distribution center on the left fender.

Please give us a little more information so we can help you with your problem. Just post under this one. Thanks
in all cases the starter has to be where the transmission and engine meet in your case i think you need to get under your car and look to the drivers side where the two meet and it should be obvious but imthinkin on that car it might be a little hard to get at but just look in that general area and you should see it no problem if not start to look for a big (starter wire) wire and it should leed ya tothe starter
