1996 mark 8 has no heat how can you tell if it's the heater core or something else AC works fine?

Check the vacuum lines under the hood pass. side and the one skinny black one the goes across the intake manifold to the pass. side, it's past the half way point on the intake. It cracks and breaks from the heat and sometimes there is enough slack to temporary fix it where it broke off but it is best to just replace the tubing, Advance Auto or such auto stores carry the replacement and it's comes in a 3 foot piece for around $5.00
