did you try unhooking the clutch safety wire or check unhooking the parking break wire id try that first because those have been some of the problems on the blasters
Check the spark plug. It could be flooded. Clean the carb
Spray some ether in the carb. If it fires, it has spark, but not getting fuel. start there.
I am assuming that the mower doesn't start.... My first guess would be that you are not getting spark to ignite the gas in the engine. Check to see if you have spark at the spark plug.
One standard push mowers they help make the spark for the spark plug. On riding mowers and electric start push mowers they do the same and there is another set of magnets that charge the battery.
replace battery & starter solenoid.. possibly carb.
Valve guides are worn and piston rings are worn crank case oil seeping up to spark plug fouling them change spark plugs or try irridum plugs they sometimes work in engines that consume oil.
start bypassing the safety kill switches< or check they are working with an ohm meter
Bull riding started in Spain.
I've disconnected the battery. Why won't yours start?
Are you getting a spark? Is the fuel filter clogged? Maybe the alternator wasn't charging while you were riding?
First obvious problem woutl be a dead battery, but if battery turns over and still doesn't start the engine then the reasons multiply, could be disconnected plug leads, bad spark plugs, flooded carb. etc.
you need a new batteryA Different AnswerIf the engine cranks, then the battery is not the problem. Inspect the spark plug and clean/replace and gap to specs. If the spark plug is okay and has a good "fat" spark, then the problem lies in the fuel system. The fuel filter may be clogged and not allowing the fuel to reach the combustion chamber, or the fuel float may be stuck closed.
