no, using your headlights during the day, just uses power from the battery, and not from the engine, the battery is constantly being recharged , while the engine is running, any way,
Every cellphone contains a battery, which supplies electricity to the phone, enabling it to send and receive signals, show text on its screen, etc. This battery has to be recharged every so often or it will run out of electricity and your phone stops working.
you may have burnt a fuse, check your engine bay fuse box It sounds like you've got a bad battery. Windows and instrument backlights are on different circuits.
In all likelihood there is something wrong with your car's charging system so that the battery is not being kept charged. It is also possible that some load, such as a glove box light is staying on, causing the battery to be continuously discharged and recharged which would weaken it. It is also possible that your starter is bad, causing excessive current to be pulled during cranking, which would damage your battery. Never replace a battery, starter, or alternator without having a professional comprehensive evaluation of the status of all three components, because they are all interrelated.
Check to make sure nothing was on during the night and if not then your battery is weak (your cells in the battery) are weak...get a new battery.
The battery will melt over a period of a week. If you put a mold around the battery you can make a donut during this period of time. Very tasty (I tried it!) jerk
Any 12 V battery charger will charge a motorcycle battery. But it is best to get one with low amperage such as a 4 to 6 amp battery charger. You can use a trickle charger to keep the battery charged on my motorcycle during storage.
Yes, it is important to use an AC adapter than a battery during installation because you want to make sure you can complete the installation before the battery runs out.
you just took the battery out
Only if you could develop a battery chemistry that (similar to the Lead Acid battery) corroded one copper plate during charging and not the other, without generating lots of hydrogen gas, and was reversible during discharge. I have never read of any such battery chemistry. I'd have to say no.
What Country and Time period?? Assuming this is US during WW2, then the "HS Battery" is probably "HQ Battery". The typical Field Artillery Battalion contained three firing batteries named "Battery A", "Battery B" and "Battery C" and a smaller service battery called "Service Battery". The Commander, his staff and clerical assistants were part of the "Headquarters Battery" or "HQ Battery". If your question relates to a different country or period, then the HQ Battery and Service Battery may be combined and called "H&S Battery" but I'm not sure of that.
it take years. . .
