Its your heater valve, its not closing therefore its letting coolant go Thur the heater core. Good news cheap fix,1 hour of labor and 20 bucks for the part. If your going to do it s easy located between the 2 firewalls ,!st remove mesh , 2nd windshield wiper then wiper motor ,3rd blower motor casing then motor. You'll see the valve. sound like alot of work but its not. The only thing that's not simply skews and bolts is the blower mount there clips.

It sounds like you have no coolant flow through the heater core or the core is plugged
try changing the pollen filter,it worked for me
Check your battery connections. If the terminals are good then check the starter.
Depends on your mecanical skills--A Haynes manual will help but it is not easy. If you do it be sure to measure the length of your head bolts and if you have oil in the coolant all hoses must be replaced
It could be the actuator that diverts the air through the heater core. Our enthusiasts forum may be able to help you more at www.trailvoy.com
It is probably the motor itself it sounds like u have a bearing going bad you can view my tutorial on this at the following link it will help u test this problem http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w201-190e-d-class/1358590-troubleshooting-mercedes-benz-190-e-d-210-tempmatic-climate-control-system.html#post2716281
My best guess would be on Ebay. I have found many parts for my 1991 190E 2.6L and for my 1983 240D 2.4L. If that doesn't help, try to google "1961 190D ignition switch" That might help also. I hope this helped!
What type of system do you have? Heat pump? With or without supplemental electric strip heat? Warm air furnace? Need to know in order to help.
Most diesel engines are hard to start when it is cold. Plugging the diesel engine block heater in will help the engine start.
