Before you go spending tons of cash on this motor, try this...............Change your oil and use 20w 50 weight oil. I have had many of these cars and it always happens this way. Dont forget to get a Mann filter or Bosch filter. They have a return valve in them that keeps oil in the motor better. If you live in a cold climate, then 20w 50 weight may be too thick. Use 10w 40 and if the light comes on, put in a bottle of stp oil treatment. I am fairly certain this will fix the problem. It has always worked for me. Good Luck. The oil pressure switches and/or their related wiring could be faulty.

In the manual for my car it says a blinking, yellow check engine light means the catalytic converter is malfunctioning.
Sounds like a very weak battery.
Because the engine is not properly configured
