Abs brake problems 1995 ford F150 why does it feel like the brakes are locked up and ABS light on dash is lit?

I'm having the same problem on my 96 Ford Taurus. I just heard that a sensor could have been unplugged causing the brakes to lock up and the light to come on. Or the sensor could be damaged. My tires will turn 3/4 of a turn and then lock up on the other 1/4 of a turn. I'll find out soon, taking it apart in a few minutes. Good luck.

As long as the red " BRAKE " light is not on in your dash you still have " normal " brakes even with the ABS light on

I would suggest start by looking at the siwitch that will be attached on the stem of your brake pedal.. however electrical problems can be a right pain to locate.. best of luck.
