Compared to crops such as wheat, oranges are not a "big" crop. However, production is significant enough for the export market. Oranges in Australia are grown in several main areas: along the Murray River in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales; through the Riverina in central NSW; and along parts of the eastern seaboard in Queensland. Oranges are exported to the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Cotton and tobacco are the two big ones.
Oranges are grown in several countries, basically wherever the climate, soil conditions and amount of rainfall is right. Spain, Greece, Israel only to mention a few. In the US, Florida is a big producer.
In Colonial Virginia, THE big crop was tobacco- although indigo (for dyes) was also grown- along with corn, wheat, oats, barley, etc.
The most important crop would be corn, followed by wheat and rice. Soybean is also grown, but on a lesser degree. Most cereal crops are for internal consumption, but demand is so big that corn and wheat are imported from the United States.Mexico also cultivates oranges, apples, table grapes, tangerines, grapefruit, pears and raisins; followed by bananas, mangoes, lemons, limes, watermelons, peaches, nectarines, plums, avocados, pineapples, and strawberries. Most fruit grown in Mexico is exported to the United States, Europe and Japan markets during the winter season.

clay? Rice is a very big food grown there. I don't believe you can grow clay because it actually comes from the Earth naturally. Bamboo shoots and sugar cane.
yes
In the Wet Tropics in Australia, Queensland.
I'd say corn and barley are big ones. The beer companies buy a lot of the barley grown outside of Pachuca. Also there are lots of tunas or prickly pears.
