did some one accidentally put the wrong fluid in the master? if so this will cause this problem m,
This happens on new cars as well as older models, when the car warms up the idle should drop. When its cold the fluids in the motor get thick so it works alittle harder until it thins out with the heat
Brakes dragging? Return ports on master cylinder restricted? As brake fluid heats it expands, if fluid return passages are plugged calipers will expand causing brakes to apply
Check the fuel line to see if it is pinched or otherwise leaking. change your oil. is your car revving unusually at startup?
Once the engine warms up it should be in between 600-800 rpms.
I would look at the fuel first. In cold weather, a low gas tank creates a lot of moister in the form of condensation that gets into your fuel. It could be that your car is burning this off as it warms up. Try keeping your tank full for a while or use a fuel additive like HEAT. I loved my Corolla. Good Luck!
When oil warms up it flows easier and is less thick (has less viscosity). Change your oil and use a heavier weight oil like 10w30 or higher.
the gearbox oil need to be warmed up a litle, before the od is going to be functional;) Toyota mechanic, Norway
Most likely mapp sensor top of air cleaner
2004 dodge grand caravan 4.0sxt cuts up when apply brake in gear and rpm go up and down.
The land warms faster
The sun warms the earth.
the head gasket is probably going. The heads all had a recall defect and Toyota lost their butts on that. Rough start is the clear symptom. Goes away as it warms up. Are you losing cooling water? It doesn't have to be much
