YES you actually can, considering the circumstances. Your 16 so you can decide who you want to live with. But in some cases you can't. For instance if a judge finds that the other parent is uncapable of raising you or is unfit to raise you then you really don't have a choice. If the parents are divorced then it is between the parents if the child can go live with the other parent. At age 14 the child can choose witch parent he/she wont's to live with.
