Certainly, but you'd have to mate it to the Dodge transmission (or, better yet, swap in a 4L60E, since Dodge's transmissions are trash), and you're going to have quite a time getting the electrical to match up. If you want a 4.3, either buy the one I'm selling or get a GM vehicle with one. The swap you have in mind really wouldn't be worth it.
the TH350 would mate up to it, it should have had that stock
No
Yes with ease mate. :p
££££ big money mate, have a shop around your local breakers or e-bay for an engine
4L60E, 700R4, Th400, Th350. The 4.3L is basically a Small Block 350 with two cylinders cut off, so any transmission that works with a Small Block Chevy will mate to a 4.3.
Yes. These are from the same generation of Caravans. Make sure that if you are changing engine size (three were available in each year 3.0,3.3, and 3.8) that the transmissions will still mate up properly.
It can be done but the cost far out weighs the end results. The computer and wiring harnesses will have to be changed. I am not sure if the transmission will mate up. Difficulty will vary depending on the type and age of the V6. Something carbureted will be much easier, transmissions will not mate up. Engine and transmission mounts will require fabrication and the driveshaft modified. Drop us a line on Mazdatruckin.com and we'll help you work it out.
