15+ years research. I can say Anxiety / Panic is mind over matter. But MOSTLY, the fastest relief is to do something you can fall in love with. Happiness is key(and it was for me) the odd, uncomfortable thoughts disapear all on their own!

I suffered many years, to find out I have a heart condition. Anxiety is the #1 symptom of a heart condition like mine because it effects my central nervous system. The one drug I KNOW helped / helps me is Xanax. I use it about 5 times a year, I should use it more often....

Going forward, I was in a marriage 11 yrs, left due to my unhappiness. Met someone else who made me happy, my whole world changed INCLUDING my Anxiety!!!! I went back to the marriage after 1.5 yrs... Anxiety came back!!!!

Its some times a mixture of things, but its a definite life change. Stress is a key factor, Exercise is key also, I noticed 3 times a week, helped me think clearer. Diet is essential, Eating junk, high fructose, brown sugar, caffeine, not eating, eating too much...all counts! Sleep is important! Its like a puzzle, once you start putting it together, it will start to make sense and get easier.

Thinking positive, meaning... Instead of saying "Oh, I hate going there". Say thinks like "Oh, Im looking forward to going there today". If you think garbage, you feel like garbage. Breathing in your nose, out your mouth can be a good way to sooth the discomfort. Eventually, it will help and medication which is a crutch, will not be needed. If you feel it only during situations, use Xanax!

there are a range of ways someone's anxiety can be reduced, a few ways are CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), prescribed drugs, just taking time to do things you find relaxing, eating healthily or getting the right amount of sleep.

I know it doesn't work for everyone but I'm glad I took the therapy option because it worked wonders for me.

Yes! There are many ways to deal with anxiety. Deep breathing and meditation do wonders! Daily exercise and a balanced diet will make you feel better all day. Stop smoking, reduce the amount of caffeine and alcohol you imbibe, try to figure out what your triggers are and avoid them/deal with why it's a trigger. Many people get through this!
