Can baking soda substitute borax when curing mange for your puppy?

YES!!
I've tried the borax for demodex mange and it seem to irritate her skin. So then I tried baking soda and peroxide and made a paste and put it where needed and it dried them up i guess, and now it's gone!!
One other thing I did aswell is i took my puppy to the beach and let her play in the water because the salt water is healing for skin irritations and that is when i forsure noticed her skin healing up within 24hrs!!
So I take her to the beach twice a week and let the water and sand get all over her, then later on when we get home i rinse her off with water and tab the baking soda and peroxcide paste onto her red areas. Within 24hrs you'll see a huge improvment. I had my 4mnth old pitbull pup have the mange all over her face, chest and her sides, and now it's gone and her hair is growing back!!!
