Yes, the scripture does explain how animals and humanity migrated to the various continents. It is found in Genesis 11:1-9.
Another Perspective:No, not really. For a more practical interpretation of this, try an experiment:
By now you have noticed that the added water overflows and supplants the original tablespoon of water you poured.
Greater numbers will push the boundaries of the original population. As the population rises, it will move further and further out from its original home.
Not absolutely everything is explained in scripture. BUT, the wisdom and practicality is there in the original creation story. In short, God created a universe to operate under very specific and logical (for this universe) laws, generally the laws of physics. While we may not fully understand these laws, they do exist and are never broken.
Jewish answer:
This is a matter of common sense.
Have you ever heard of a Norwegian named Thor Heyerdahl? In 1947, he set sail from Peru to Polynesia, well over 4,000 miles, on a simple large handmade raft without any motor, to prove that people could migrate clear across the Pacific in early times. He succeeded. Look it up.
But more to the point, people can and have migrated over the Bering ice. So looking at a globe, that will show you that not only are Eurasia and Africa connected, but the Americas are accessible from East Asia on foot too.
Now look at southeast Asia and you'll see that there are many islands between Asia and Australia, making a connecting journey into a series of relatively short hops, instead of one long voyage.
It's also no coincidence that the South Sea Islanders are all experts at outrigger construction and usage.
To follow animals .
Humanity is the being that lives in us all. it is the difference between us and animals. Humanity is what allows most of us to care for one another. Humanity is what is missing in someone who would intentionally hurt another person. Sadly the definition for humanity that I've always understood to separate us from animals is no longer a good thing. Many animals are more caring and loving then some humans.
Animals found in Africa are not so distinct that a sweeping statement about their differences to those from other continents can be made, unlike say Australia which has much more unique fauna. It should be noted, though, that humanity originates from Africa and is the only species capable of speech.
invacive species
Invasive Species
All continents have animals, even Antarctica.
Invasive species are plants and animals that have migrated or be placed in places were they are not native. This is very harmful to the native flora and fauna who have no natural defenses against the invaders.
