yes. Mitsubishi & Nissan alternators will do the work! I suggest, get a 110 Amps from a Cefiro to replace the 70Amp stock alternator. Since, the 110 AMp alternator is bigger than its predecessor, there will be some grinding that you will need to do (grinding of the alternator brackets).
what's good with a 110Amp are as follows:
1. No more current (electric) shortages while aircon is on, headlights (at high) / including fog lamps / radio-stereo / etc.
2. Alternator won't be too over-worked while running the engine, charging the bats.
3. Better batery charging
4. additional hp.
no 84 and 85 swap out.
Depends on the make, model, & year of the car, who installs the alternator & battery, and the type battery you buy. Most auto parts stores will install a battery for free. Batteries cost from $60 to $250. Alternators cost from $65 - Up. Labor to install an alternator can be from $75 to $225 or more.
What Model of Bosch on what product?? Make, Model and Year
Depends on the make, model, and year of the vehicle in question which you failed to list. Call your local auto parts store and they can tell you what the alternator will cost you. Then call a trusted mechanic and ask them how much to install it.
where is the alternator located in a Hyundai excel 94 model
When it is no longer able to keep the system charged. Starting with 2001 model, when the car is started, if you see either the battery warning or the battery along with the brakes warnings on, or intermittently flashing on, you need to have your alternator checked. Otherwise, its fine.
Disconnect the battery. If your model uses a belt tensioner then move it to take the tension of the belt. Otherwise loosen the alternator bolts and the unit will move in its bracket to let you remove the belt. Disconnect alternator wiring and remove the alternator bolts to take the unit out. Reverse procedure to install the new unit.
Nissan is the make, Altima is the model. Earlier model years were sold as the "Sentra Altima".
look into getting a Hayes repair manual or similar book for your cars make, model and year. It should tell you how to install the alternator. Your local library may also have a general auto repair manual to give you a general idea. Hoep this helps :)also if you have a friend or a friend of a friend that is a mechanic, maybe they can help
On an older model Volkswagen you would have a generator in stead of an alternator. The generator would give you DC.
check out www.installdr.com it will specify wires for you just select your vehicle make and model. I just used it to install a radio wihtout the wiring harness.
It depends. The 2.2 and 2.3 liter models (S, Si, SE) share a particular alternator. The 2.2 liter VTEC model uses a different model alternator.
