Most likely not. TVR produces its own engines and uses unique transmissions. So you'd have to find a transmission that matches the mounts of the engine, which could prove difficult.
Yes, they are. Please remember you have to also change the flywheel on the manual with the flexplate from the automatic transmission/tourque converter. you might also have to change the axles too.
There might be a manual version of this car but it will be so rare that it is unfindable It is an automatic
yes, but im sure it will be rather costly. might as well trade in your manual aveo for an auto aveo.
Manual or Automatic?? In either case, most likely the linkage. Manual, might be the syncronizer gear or low on lubricant.
An example might be - The instruction manual is very useful. Another may be - There are two options when selecting which type of car to drive, manual or automatic.
If one has spent years around automobiles it might be reasonable to perform that kind of change. If you are thinking of having a shop do the work for you, it will cost a LOT! Some of the older cars might not be that difficult, but newer vehicles have far too much interconnecting equipment to make such a change practical.
$5,000 to $10,000 (but don't quote me on that..might be more) better just to sell it and buy a manual.
Manual Startup. Use services.msc in command prompt to set the startup.
if the bolt up you can you might need to add some computer stuff depending on what year the car or truck is.
Generally no. The connection to the transmission is quite different, better to change both the engine and the transmission.
actually you can...if they are the same engine just one was from the automatic version of the car and yours is the manual or vice versa you can do it, the engines are the same, it is the transmission that is different. but if the engine is from a different year/model you might want to check if the transmission and engine will line up properly, or you will do alot of work for nothing
Read the Owners Manual....That might help..
Let's start with the year of your Sunfire. That might make a difference. Then, you need to tell us if you have a manual or automatic transmission. FriPilot
