You could, however it is the throttle control that makes the turn work.
You need to look ahead and plan your turn, then get on the brakes to slow your speed. You should allready have found an apex and looking at your exit. A SLOW hand on the throttle makes a faster safer rider.

Remember that centrifugal force helps keep the bike UP. Having the clutch in means there is decreasing centrifugal force and the bike wants to fall.

You should reak Keith Codes books and get some track time in.

What would cause a suzuki 600 to die when you put it in gear?

I am assuming you mean the Suzuki GSXR600 motorcycle. ANY motorcycle whose engine dies when you engage first gear MOST PROBABLY has a CLUTCH problem. Have the clutch tightened. To check whether the clutch is CLEARING the gear, do the following: 1. With the engine turned off, hold the clutch and put the motorcycle in first gear. 2. While holding the clutch, push the motorbike forward. If the rear tire allows the motorcycle to move forward, the clutch is engaging properly and clearing the gear. If the motorcycle won't budge with the clutch engaged, the clutch is not engaging properly. If the clutch has been tightened and is too hard to engage, you might want to have a mechanic open the motorcycle and check the clutch discs- they might be worn out.

How do you bleed the clutch on a Honda Shadow VT1100 motorcycle?

Same as for the brakes. Locate the bleeder, slack it and re tighten. Have someone pull in the clutch and hold, you release the bleeder, then tighten it while the clutch is still held in. Once the bleeder is tight, release the clutch and repeat till all the air is out. Make sure to refill the fluid.

There is a little pedal on the left side by your foot. If you put your foot under it and raise up that will shift through the gears. You have to hold the clutch in between gears though. Takeing off 1999 yz 125 clutch basket?

Same way you take off any other clutch basket. Buy the removal tool (large vise gripwith long fingers) and hold the basket while removing the nut. Another option is to weld old clutch plates together so they will slide onto the drive hub, then fastnen a handle on it and hold while breaking the nut loose as stated before.

How do you perform a Motorcycle clutch adjustment?

This may not be what you mean but the clutch control lever is adjusted by setting the adjustment on the cable. You should see an adjustment half way down the cable (It may be covered by a rubber boot). To adjust it you loosen the nut and then turn the other part until the clutch is the way you want it. You can squeeze the clutch and change gears at different settings to see what is best for you. When it handles the way you like, tighten the nut to hold the setting.
