Yes, but 1 turbo is really to small for a 5.0, you will need 2. Also you will need to get a manifold that will fit the turbine mount, shouldn't be a problem for a Ford 5.0, look on turbo mustang sites/kits. There are about 5 different turbos that where used on the 5.9 whc1,hx35, hy35, he341, he351, so you have to check which one you need. There are plenty of forums to check what 5.0 guys are using/ turbo calculators to check. I'm in the process of building my own set up for a 318 magnum, looking to get 2- hx35 can flow enough for 400-800 hp on a small v8. HY35 can spool faster due to small turbine housing but would limit top end. Their are aftermarket turbine housings that 4cl Honda/Mitsubishi/ svo ford 4cyl. mustang racers use.
not for production vehicles, they only make a turbo diesel engine in their pickups.
Pictures of the Ford 2.4 liter Turbo diesel engine, can be obtained from most local libraries. Pictures of the diesel engine can also be found at most Ford dealerships.
It does not because the body is light so the engine does not support a turbo system
7.3L turbo
Cummins owns the engine. Dodge just offers the computer instead of cummins. Cummins is a private company it is not owned by Ford or Dodge.
The 6.9 engine in the Ford trucks was an International/Navistar diesel, and was never built with a turbo. The 7.3 Was introduced with a turbo in the early 90's.
