Yes you will use less chemical and loose less heat
To finish the statement above: . . . . . and lose less heat . . along with possibly loosing the copper heat exchanger inside the heater. The tabs in the "capture well" or skimmer: Tabs are highly acidic. While the filter/pump is running at night or daytime you get a certain amount of acidic water thru the equipment and system - still it is detremental (harmful) to the system. But, when the system shuts off for those few hours the tabs continue to dissolve. That accumulated dissolved tab (the dissolved solution has by now multilpied in strength) will then rush thru the heater stripping layers of the copper finned tubing with it and depositing the metal on the plaster, vinyl, anything it touches. Soon and very soon, you will have to call the service tech to find out why your heater is leaking or not working. A good place for the tabs is in a floater or better still in an automatic feeder located near the pool equipment - in stalled after the heater. Best yet switch to a salt generating system.
The easiest way is to just wait a couple of days the chlorine levels will drop on their own. Also, if you use a pool cover, leave it off. This allows free Chlorine to evaporate from the surface. === ===
The best way to protect hair color form the sun and chlorine is to cover the hair with a cap if possible. If wearing a hat is not your thing, you can apply a leave-in conditioner with added UV filters to help ward off the harmful rays of the sun. The leave-in conditioner will also aid in the protection of chlorine damage.
I will make the answer simple. yes.
Yes, you leave the filter on in order for you to put salt in it
Yes, fluorine (F2) and chlorine (Cl2) are both gas at room temperature. but if you leave them out in the cold they will turn into poison and if you leave it beneathe the blazing hot sun then it will explode.
Chlorine in water will dissipate if left exposed to the air and sunlight for a while e.g to get rid of chlorine in bucket of water leave it standing out in the sun for a while.
I clean my filter and skimmer basket and leave my pump running. I do not cover my pool. I guess it could depend on the weather in your area and if you have a problem with leaves getting in your pool.
leave it like what?
Yes leave the cover on, you don't want PS fluid on any painted surface.
Yes. The filter will pull water into the skimmer from under the cover and send it back into the pool through the return line. In fact, when using a solar cover the pool will warm slightly faster if the water is circulating (the solar cover is continuously heating all of the water rather than a just a small layer of already warm water right under the cover). Heat flows faster the greater the temperature difference. Hope this helps...
Yes, you can leave it out but know that incoming air will not be filtered. This is the way it was on all cars up until the late 90s when the cabin filter was introduced.
yes you can use chlorine fill pool to middle of skimmer make sure pump is on and stays on pour 1 jug 10l of chlorine in leave for 24 hrs DO NOT swim in it till the 24 hr's is up
