Try resetting the fuel pump safety switch which is in the trunk. Consult your Owners Manual for the exact location.

Hope this helps! Radioman

I had the same issue and after replacing sensors, regulators, relays, etc. car still wouldn't start! Finally picked up a used pcm/ecm module (electronic control module) at a salvage yard, plugged it in and car started up. Just to test I reconnected the old pcm/ecm and again car wouldn't start. Put back the replacement and car fired up. I've seen on the internet where people did the same as me, replacing fuel pump, sensor, relays, injectors, regulators and their car wouldn't start and they couldn't figure it out so I thought I'd share what worked in my case

If your 1992 Explorer doesn't start and you tap on the relay switch under the hood and the truck starts is the relay switch bad or the fuel pump Both the pump and relay switch have been replaced?

You may have gotten a bad relay, or there may be a loose electrical connection at or close to the relay.

What is wrong when a car keeps trying to start after started?

If you mean that the starter keeps spinning after the vehicle starts), the solenoid/relay switch is not releasing. In the START position, the relay spins the starter to start the engine and should release when the key is moved from START to RUN. Probably needs to be cleaned or replaced.

1992 Honda Accord wont startI just had to replace my main relay. My car wouldn't start either. Now it starts every time I turn the key.I have a 1989 Honda Civic. When it got hot, it would not start. I also replaced the main relay, which I found online for like 30 dollars, and replaced it myself. It was very easy to do and I have never had a problem since.

97 Ford Ranger ignition clicks when trying to start it Starts after key is turned on many times-up to 100 Starter battery neutral safety switch are replaced Terminals grounds check What next?

first thing i wouldn't try to start the motor more than a few times, and then let the starter cool down, then try again. the starter solenoid may have bad brushes and need rebuilt, or the starter relay may be defective and need replaced.
