The antifreeze in the oil is a dead give away that the head gasket is blown. Make sure you send the heads out to be checked so they are not warped.
usually a bad head gasket or cracked head
Head gasket or cracked head. Mo
You need to replace your intake manifold gasket. Chevy had a bad problem with these gaskets.
That is a common problem with the Vortec engines, First place the gasket is not made of much as you can see. Antifreeze eats the gasket up over time. The ORANGE antifreeze is BAD. If the Intake was OVER TORQUED that will cause it to leak/ Go bad too.
Hi, Head gasket is leaking, allowing oil to enter cooling system. Peace, crigby
A used head gasket is not worth anything, because it cannot be reused.
You may have a blown head gasket. This needs to be repaired before you drive the vehicle or you can blow your engine.
antifreeze leaks by the intake gasket into oil. deteriating bearings causing oil to leak by the bearing
Blown head gasket or a cracked head. Do not drive this car. Serious engine damage will occur.
well i just did a head gasket job on my 1992 g30 full size van & it costed me about $185 for all the gaskets , oil & antifreeze
No. The two things are completely unrelated.
If it is a vortec engine, it is probably the lower intake manifold gasket. In most cases you can smell it when the engine is hot.
